Ben and his bissness is awesome they have a excellent jerky and excellent summer sausage you can buy the only reason i gave them 4 out 5 stars is

they sometimes have trouble makeing change and sometimes are out off what you want to buy ... but if you have a credit card and call ahead these 2 problems wont hapen to you . we havent used them to butcher an animal for us yet but in the future we will probly use ben for that to ...

I had five pigs slaughtered by them last year and the meat was horrible! It tasted so bad my children hate pork now. This was our first time raising pigs and almost didn't do it again be cause I thought all meat home would taste like that. So I raised one pig this year and had it processed somewhere else and its the best meat I've ever had! So beware of Ben's in Dayton, Oregon!

No longer a good place for eat processing! Still clean but no longer efficient and is incorrectly processing orders. I have referred many friends to Ben's since it opened. I've personally had good luck until my last order and now find out my referred friends have had some bad luck too and are never going back. My last order included steaks cut with the wrong grain, sausage improperly marked (mild vs hot), incorrectly sized packages, etc. Either he is not caring what he is doing or he has bad help and is not checking orders. I do not suggest this place any longer.
